Lyons, Anne L. (Lane) of Milton, formerly a 41 year resident of Quincy, died February 15, 2009. Wife of the late Francis P. Lyons. Loving mother of Anne F. & husband Myles McCabe of Pembroke, Virginia M. & husband David Macaulay of Nantucket, Mary Jane & husband Phil Murphy of Hingham, and Thomas P. Lyons & wife Patty of Pembroke. Sister of the late Mary K. Lane. Devoted “Nan” to 8 grandchildren and “Nannie” to 15 great grandchildren. Anne enjoyed summers in Rocky Nook and was a 64 year member of the Rocky Nook Brewster Park Association. She was a past president of Archbishop Williams High School Guild and a member of their Martha’s Club. She was also a past board member of Emmanuel College Women’s League. She enjoyed bowling with the St. Agatha’s and Cunningham Town Bowling Leagues. In recent years, Anne thoroughly enjoyed following her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s activities. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Wednesday at 8:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 9 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-7 PM. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in Anne’s memory may be made to Hingham Interfaith Food Pantry, 685 Main St., Hingham, MA 02043.
