Anna M. Kenney

Kenney, Anna M. (Vaughan) of Braintree, passed away July 27, 2017. Anna grew up in Neponset, but was a longtime resident of Braintree. She was a graduate of Nazareth High School in South Boston. Anna loved to spend time with her family and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

When Anna worked as a secretary at Fenway Park, she met her husband of 58 years, the late Edward F. Kenney. She is the loving mother of Anne Marie and her husband Brian Kelley of Newton, Edward P. Kenney of Hyannis, Kathryn Kenney of Braintree, Helen and her husband Dennis McGann of Longmeadow and the late Virginia Kenney. Proud Nana of Ginny, Jackie, Gregory, Patrick, Matthew, Anna, Timothy and one great grandchild; Ryan. Dear sister of Patricia “Patsy” Caruso and her husband Jim of Watertown and predeceased by Katherine, Helen, Jody, Mary, Evelyn, Maurice, John and Franny. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 11 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
