Anna M. Keaney

Keaney, Anna  M. “Ann” of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, died January 15, 2015.

Beloved daughter of the late John J. and Mary E. (Foley) Keaney.  Loving sister of Theresa Flanigan of Hatboro, PA, Catherine “Kay” of Quincy and Bob of Weymouth and the late Mary E. Cahill and John J. Keaney, Jr.  Dear sister-in-law of Robert Flanigan of Hatboro, PA, Rita Keaney of Quincy and Patricia “Gail” Keaney of Weymouth. Ann is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and their children.  

Ann was a proud graduate of Dorchester High School for Girls.  She was a Department Manager for the John Hancock Insurance Company for many years, where, in 1963, she was involved in facilitating the operation of the Univac Computer System and later retired in 1984.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 5-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.).  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30AM Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial following in New Calvary Cemetery, 880 Harvard Street, Boston, MA 02131.
