Anna L. (Slatkevich) Cobbett

Cobbett, Anna L. (Slatkevich) of Weymouth, died July 14, 2023. She was 97.

Born in Ellington, CT, she was the daughter to the late John and Adella (Kabasinski) Slatkevich.

Anna and her husband Earl lived on River Street for more than 60 years and raised their family there. The two of them enjoyed traveling and made many trips cross country. Their favorite trips were those to visit her sister in El Paso, Texas. Anna worked at Raytheon in Quincy and Start Market in Quincy for many years. She enjoyed baking and gardening and she was very proud of her Lithuanian heritage. Of all the roles she held in her life, she especially loved being a grandmother and great-grandmother.

Predeceased by her husband Earl L. Cobbett. Loving mother to Sandra A. Moore and her husband James of Weymouth and Richard Cobbett of VA. Cherished grandmother of Kevin Moore and his wife Beth and Michele DeCoste. GiGi to Tyler Moore, Emma DeCoste, Andrew DeCoste, Kasey Moore, Allyson DeCoste, and Jason Moore. Predeceased by her siblings, Bruno Slatkevich, Justin (Chet) Slatkevich, John Slatt, and Veronice (Jane) Hanlon. And loving aunt to her nieces and nephews in Maine and Florida. She will also be missed by her supportive and caring River Street neighbors.
