Anna K. Gavin

Gavin, Anna K. (Doherty) of Hingham, died February 17, 2022. 

Anna was born in Boston to the late Patrick and Anna Doherty. Anna was a devoted homemaker and also worked for Westinghouse and Campbell Sales. She enjoyed traveling to Europe and was very active in the Linden Ponds Community. She loved gardening and helped curate the annual Flower Show and plant all the exterior seasonal planters. She was Treasurer of the Linden Ponds Theater company and part of the stage crew building and painting sets.

Beloved wife of 62 years to William D. Gavin of Hingham. Loving mother of William J. Gavin and his wife Donna M. of Billerica and Suzanne Donahue and her husband Kenneth of Bridgewater. Cherished “Nanny” to Savanna, Michael, Gavin and Emily.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visitation on Saturday from 9 am-10:30 am in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital), followed by her Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 11 AM. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in West Roxbury.
