Anna E. Barra

Barra, Anna E. (Carlucci) of Quincy, passed away from cancer peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 6, 2016. She was 61.

Anna was a stores manager for Marshall’s Department Store. She enjoyed to travel and was always very happy spending time with John and their friends out boating. Anna loved her family very much and was so happy with the wonderful times she spent with them. She will be dearly missed by those who loved her. Her smile and positive personality and influence in the lives of everyone she met will not be forgotten.

Anna was the fiance of John DiTocco of Quincy. Beloved mother of  Christopher M. Barra, Jr. and his wife, Michelle of Weymouth, Amanda E. Mann and her husband, Kyle, of Ft Walton, Fl, and Stephanie A. Lathrop and her husband, Michael, of Pensacola, FL.  Loving Nina to Reese, Adriana, Annina, Josefine, and Anthony. Sister of Carmine Carlucci of Quincy and Maria G. Barber and husband David of Abington; Aunt of David and Billy Barber. Also survived by her fiance’s children, Lindsay, John Paul, Brianna and many dear friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday from 2-6 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. John’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Cremation will follow.
