Anna D. Starsiak

Starsiak, Anna D. “Gram” (Barauskas) of Quincy, July 27, 2008. Loving wife of the late Stanley M. Starsiak. Beloved mother of Janice Erler and her husband Paul of Quincy, Suzanne Flynn and her husband Bryan of Hanover and Stephen Starsiak and his wife Suzi of Easton. Loving sister of Frances ” Sissy” Howard of Dorchester and the late Stella Demsky, Nellie Fratic and brothers Joseph Barauskas and John Barkas. Anna was the devoted grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cherished neighbors and friends. Born and raised in South Boston, Anna moved to Squantum over 60 years ago and raised her family. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, reading, gardening and bowling. A devout Catholic, her faith was a very important part of her life. She was a member of the K Club at Florian Hall. She will be remembered as a kind, sweet , selfless lady, who adored her family. She will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to have had her in their lives, especially her granddaughter Katie, her “faithful roommate.” Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4- 8 PM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
