Harris, Anna D. (Katundi) “Anne” of Quincy, passed away peacefully August 4, 2017.

Born (1921) and raised in Boston’s South End, Anne was the daughter of Rev. Dhosi and Thomaidha (Philip) Katundi.  Beloved wife of 59 years to the late William V. Harris of Quincy, MA.  Devoted mother of Joseph Harris (Diane) of Half Moon Bay, CA and William Harris (Marianne) of Chicago, IL.  Cherished grandmother of 5 grandchildren.

Anne was a retail specialist and accomplished seamstress at R.H. Stearns on Washington Street in Boston where she worked with her dear sister Shpresa “Peg” Ostar.  She was also a loving and wonderful stay at home mother.  Anne was later employed for over 15 years by the Quincy Public Schools in their lunch program at Gridley Bryant, Lincoln Hancock, Willard and the Furnace Brook elementary schools.  Anne was a caring wife and mother who enjoyed her blessings, Orthodox faith, grandchildren, the beach, reading U.S. history, and gardening.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hour on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 9 AM in the Albanian Orthodox Cathedral of St. George, 523 E. Broadway, So. Boston, followed by a funeral service at 10 AM.  Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
