It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Anna S. Alongi, age 98 of Quincy Ma. on Sunday October 6, 2024. With sadness in our hearts, we find solace in knowing that Anna is in a better place.
Anna was born in Quincy, to the late Calogero and Francesca Maligno. Surviving her 8 siblings, she was raised and educated in Quincy Ma. where she also met and married the love of her life, the late Damiano (Danny) Alongi.
Anna’s distinguished characteristics encompass a winsome and charismatic personality, paired with a remarkable aptitude for forgiving. Nonetheless, Ann's commitment was steadfastly focused on her family's well-being-
Anna, a devout catholic, had a love for Italian music, in her younger days, she would showcase her talents of playing the piano as well as the accordion. She loved her late-night trips to the casino and had a passion to indulge in card games amidst family and friends. Traveling also formed a significant part of her life. However, her family always remained top priority with unwavering dedication not only to her children but to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
