Ann V. Tyler

Tyler, Ann V. (Higgins), O.C.D.S of Hingham, died November 11, 2014. 

Pre deceased by her husband Walter J. Tyler, Jr.  Beloved mother of Stephen Tyler (Elvie) of FL, Tracy Tyler-O’Reilly  (Tim) of VT, Mary Tyler of FL, Michael Tyler (Susan) of Pembroke, Susan Amico (Charles) of Rockland, Janice Welch  (Kevin) of Taunton and the late John P.Tyler.  Loving Grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  Caring sister of Barrie Pinto (Larry) of NY and Dottie Grant of FL. and the late Helen Gleason. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.  

Ann was a devout Catholic and a member of the Secular Order of  Discalced Carmelites. She was  a CCD teacher and a member of RCIA. She also enjoyed volunteering at her church.  She loved traveling, reading and her garden. Ann found great pleasure in spending time with her family and friends. She will be sadly missed.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 8:30am Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 9:30am. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
