Ann T. Mcgrail

Ann T. McGrail, a cherished soul known for her sense of humor, spirit and love for family and friends, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2024, at the age of 89. 

Ann’s memory is lovingly etched in the hearts of her devoted family, including her husband, the late Myles “Buddy” McGrail, her sons, Michael McGrail and his wife, Helaine of S. Yarmouth and Daniel J. McGrail and his wife, Eileen of Wrentham her grandchildren Daniel McGrail and his wife Prasanthi, Julie Beard and her husband Chris, Tim McGrail and his wife Colleen and Michael McGrail and his wife Jennifer, also the great Nana to Myles, Thara and Ellie. Predeceased by her siblings Peggy Lynch and Joe Cooper. 

A social butterfly, Ann enjoyed the company of family and friends and could often be found hosting card games with her signature margarita in-hand. Ann’s passion for family took her back to Ireland, where she connected with her roots and reveled in the beauty of her ancestral land.

Ann’s zest for life was also evident in the numerous road trips she undertook with her husband, creating a tapestry of memories that stretched across the open roads. Her stories of adventure and camaraderie will be told for generations, a testament to a life lived with joy and fullness.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 3-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Clare’s Church, Braintree at 10 AM. Burial shall be private.
