Ann P. Francis

Mrs. Ann P. (Shea) Francis  of Braintree, formerly of Dorchester, died June 17, 2015, after 17 years of Parkinson’s Disease.

Born and raised in Dorchester, she lived in Dorchester before moving to Braintree in 2005. Ann was a graduate of Saint Peter’s Grammar School as well as Msgr Ryan High School. A devout catholic, Ann was very active at Saint Peter’s Parish with helping to organize many functions, teaching CCD, and was also a eucharistic minister. Ann also worked for many years at Price Waterhouse Corporation. Ann always enjoyed taking day trips to Cape Cod and to Foxwoods, but her family was very important to her. She will be dearly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Loving mother of Kathleen Francis and her partner, Elizabeth Carlozzi, of Weymouth, Maryann Nelson and her husband, Dave, of Mesa, AZ, John Francis and his wife, Charlene, of North Grafton, and Michael Francis of Holbrook. Sister of Kathy Shaw and her husband, Bob, of Avon. Aunt of Leanne Smith and her husband, Mark of Brockton.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Clare’s Church, Braintree at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Randolph.
