She was born in Boston to the late Andrew and Anna Donovan. She grew up in Brookline and graduated from Brookline High School in 1956. Anne liked to travel, socialize with friends and spend time with her family. She touched the lives of all she met and will be remembered most for her quick wit and lively sense of humor. She liked to laugh and make those around her laugh too.

She was also the cherished aunt of Michelle Rooney and Leo and James McGrath.

Anne is survived by her siblings Mary Abbisso, Helen Wythe, Patsy Lydon and Thomas Donovan. She was predeceased by her sister Sheila McGrath and brother James Donovan. She is the sister-in-law to John and Katherine McIntyre.

She is the beloved Nannie to Marissa, David, Billy, Kelcy, Emily, Maeve, Nora, Sheila, Owen, Jared and Nolan and great grandchildren Natalie Goulet and David Harris. She is also the beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.
