Ann L. Lamie

Lamie, Ann L.( McDonald ) of Quincy, died on Thursday, August 27, 2009 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimers. She was 73 years old. Loving mother of Robert J. Lamie, Jr. and his wife Jane of Quincy, Wayne Lamie and his wife Cheri of Framingham, Michael Lamie of Duxbury, Mark Lamie and his wife Allison of Weymouth and Maureen & Michelle Lamie both of Quincy. Very Special Nana to Stephanie, Kristen, Nicole, Mikey, Jason, William & Daniel. Sister of Leo McDonald of Fall River, Phyllis Sanda of Randolph, and the late Joseph McDonald. Ann is also survived by her angels Kathy & Lindsay Peterson as well as many nieces and nephews. Ann enjoyed bingo and her annual Mother’s Day trip to Las Vegas with the girls. She enjoyed planting flowers and working in her yard. Ann was an avid bowler at Olindy’s every Thursday. Most of all Ann enjoyed being a devoted mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday from 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, Wollaston. A Celebration of Life tribute will begin at 7pm on Sunday evening immediately after visiting hours.
