Ann (Antonellis) Cotoulas 86 of Hull, passed away peacefully with her family on Wednesday, June 1, after a year long illnrss. Ann loved life. She loved her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She loved her church, especially her fellow Philoptochos members. She loved her car, especially driving somewhere to shop. She loved to work, beginning with her job on Newbury Street in the 50’s at Helena Rubenstein, up until 2009 working for Talbots (for 27 years). A common thread in Ann’s life was fashion and her sense of style was evident in every photo of her. She had many friendships beginning some 80 odd years ago with her chums from Adams Street in Newton. Her stories of her antics with Oaky, Pudgy and Swifty were the best. She loved the excitement of travel, the theater, dancing, a good party and antiquing with her husband Nick. She also loved the simple things: attending all of her grandchildren’s plays, games and concerts, catching a movie every week at the Loring, planting flowers in her yard (she was a member of the Hull garden club) or sitting on her porch with a good book. She was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas Cotoulas. She leaves her daughters Phyllis Johnson and her husband James of Hanover, Catherine Brunelle and her husband Eric of Whitman, and her son Nicholas Cotoulas and his wife Donna of Whitman. Daughter of the late Filomena and Pasquale Antonellis of Italy. Sister of Joseph Antonellis of Newton and Beatrice Mooar of Framingham and the late Frankie Antonellis. She also leaves her beloved grandchildren, Anna Brunelle of Brooklyn, New York, Emily Brunelle of Whitman, Laura and Sarah Johnson of Hanover and Nicholas Cotoulas of Whitman. Ann is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was strong, loyal and gracious – we will miss her and all of the love she gave. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. Hingham on Monday 4-8pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the Funeral Home at 9:15am prior to the Funeral Service in Nativity-Assumption of The Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church (Panagia) Tuesday at 10am. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery. Donations in memory of Ann may be made to Nativity- Assumption of The Virgin Mary Church (Panagia), 811 Jerusalem Road, Cohasset, MA 02025.
