Coughlin, Ann C. (Doherty) of Quincy February 11, 2005. Wife of the late James E. Coughlin. Beloved mother of James E. Coughlin, Jr. of No. Grafton, John E. Coughlin of Quincy, Mary A. Coughlin of Quincy, Laura Graham of Lakeville, Charles E. Coughlin of Holliston, Elizabeth M. Coughlin of Quincy. Loving sister of John Doherty of Boston, Nora Doherty of W. Roxbury, Rosaleen Coppola of Roslindale, and the late Mary Detesso and Edmund Doherty. Cherished grandmother of Jonathan, Katie, Harrison, Anthony, and Abigail. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Tuesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Monday 3 – 7 PM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. Mrs. Coughlin was a member of the Star of the Sea Parish and was involved in the Star of the Sea Prayer Group and the Catholic Women’s Club. Prior to working in the cafeteria at Squantum School, she worked as an Operator for the Boston Gas Co. for 8 years. Ann loved the simple things in life. She cherished her family especially her grandchildren. Dancing at Mosley’s on the Charles was always a favorite. She loved the beach and the sun and always enjoyed the Squantum Fourth of July and visits to Lake Winnipesaukee. Ann loved Hot Fudge Sundaes!
