Angela Marisa Ryan

Angela Marisa Ryan of Quincy, formerly of Scotland, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Wednesday, May 5.  She was 49.

She was born to Rina and Wellington Dennan in Scotland and raised by Edgar and Rina Forrest.  Angela immigrated to the United States in 1996 where she took a waitressing job at Joe’s American Bar & Grill.  Angela loved her family more than anything and never missed a chance to call home.  In her spare time she could be found volunteering at Interfaith Social Services where she made many friends.

Angela is survived by her devoted husband of 15 years, Laurence “Lorcan” Ryan of Quincy.  Loving sister to Douglas Forrest and wife Grainne, Sonia Lynch and husband Hans, Carmen Forrest, Lisa Horne and husband Hugh, Lauren and Nicole Forrest.  Godmother and Aunt to Kai Ferguson.  Aunt to Calum, Brandon and Cerys Lynch.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday, May 10 from 4-8 pm in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. The funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, May 11 at 10:30 am at St. Ann’s Church, Quincy. Normally, the funeral is an opportunity for the community to gather in support of one another.
