Andrew “Scotty” Evans

Evans, Andrew “Scotty” of Dorchester, May 24, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Nancy (McFadries) Evans. Father of the late Martha O’Sullivan. Loving Papa of Andrea Gibbons of Hingham, Patrice Low of Norwell and James O’Sullivan of Charlestown. Devoted great-grandfather of Emily, Ryan and Olivia. Scotty was born in Glasgow, Scotland were he lived until his early 20s before settling in Dorchester. Scotty was a Carpenter for the Boston Housing Authority for 40 years before retiring in 2004. Scotty was a supporter of the Glasgow Celtic FC and enjoyed spending time with his group of friends at the Twelve Bens in Dorchester. Most of all Scotty enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Thursday, May 27, 2010 4- 8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Friday, May 28, 2010 prior to the Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church at 10 AM. Cremation to follow.
