Andrew M. Caccavale

Andrew M. Caccavale of Hopedale, formally of Weymouth, passed away on August 17, 2023. He was 99 years old.

Born in Weymouth to the late Francesco and Carmella Caccavale (Conza). Andrew lived most of his life in Weymouth, attending Weymouth Schools and was a graduate of Weymouth High School Class of 1943. Upon graduation he immediately enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater during WWII. When he returned he married the love of his life, Louise. Andrew retired at the age of 65 and was able to enjoy 34 years of retirement spending time with his family and playing golf and fishing.

Beloved husband of the late Louise Caccavale (Bianco). Brother of the late Joseph Caccavale. Cherished father of Frank Caccavale and his late wife Therese of Hopedale, Anne Caccavale-Nourse and her husband Jeff of Scituate. Loving grandfather, “Papa”, of Sam and his wife Jenny Caccavale of Weymouth, Brian and his wife Laura Caccavale of Jefferson, and Peter and his wife Christina Caccavale of Smithtown NY. Great-grandfather of Madelyn, Giancarlo, Matteo, Harper, Livia and Viviana. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday, August 22,  10-12 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, East Weymouth at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street). Funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 22, at 11:45 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home , East Weymouth at 3 Charles St. (corner of Charles & Middle Street). Burial services will be private for family members.
