Julian, Andrew J. of Brookline, died August 30, 2016. Born in Pennsylvania, Andrew spent his childhood in West Virginia to help his family care for their family farm. Andrew and his “dearest Alice” spent most of their lives residing in Hingham. Andrew loved his work in sales and as a financial adviser at John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance and Financial Corporation. A proud member of the U.S. Army; Andrew served in the Korean War where he earned a bronze medal. Andrew was an avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. Alice and Andrew would take trips to Florida to attend the Boston Red Sox spring training and enjoyed visiting Andrew’s West Virginia farm. He was an accomplished athlete, participating in baseball, basketball, golf and half marathons. Andrew’s love of sports continued, he managed his son’s baseball team The Rockets. He assisted The Rockets in achieving championship status. Beloved husband for many years to Alice P. Julian of Brookline. Son of the late Domenic and Santa Julian. Cherished father of Andrew J. Julian Jr. and his wife Evelyn of Hingham, Pamela S. Julian of Brookline and her fiance David Richman of Henniker, New Hampshire, Michele A. Julian and her husband Tom Gorman of Watertown and Meredith J. Boudreault and her husband Robert of Abington. Treasured grandfather to 7 grandchildren; Anthony, Ashley, Courtney, Barry, Erik, Andrew, and Christian. Andrew was also the soon to be great grandfather to one. Predeceased by his siblings; Joseph, Orlando, Patricia and Mary. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial in Hingham Cemetery, Hingham.
