Andrew Joseph Reardon, 43 of Easton passed away peacefully on March 27, 2023 surrounded by his friends and family. Andy was born in Weymouth on July 16, 1979 to Kevin and Joan Reardon. He is survived by his parents and his devoted, loving wife Angie Reardon and his children Jocelyn and Brody Reardon, who he adored. He is also survived by his three sisters and their families Susan and James Finneran, Christine and Jack McGuinness, Jennifer and Sean Hagan and his nephews Michael and Ryan Finneran, Tyler and Andrew Reardon, Justin and Ben Hagan as well as his great niece Lily Reardon. Also, Robert and Joanne DiGiampietro, Colleen and Kenneth and their children Pearce, Gwyneth and Calvin Sutcliffe, Tina and Jeremy and their children Quinn and Kennedy Handlon, and Bobby DiGiampietro. Countless uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Andy was a positive life force from the day he was born and he lived every day to the fullest with his unfailing optimism. In his short time on this earth, he loved intensely and made many devoted friends.
He always dreamed of being a father and he fulfilled that dream when he became a father to Jocelyn and Brody. He loved them more than life itself and in his short time was able to teach them all of the lessons that he wanted to impart. How to approach life with positivity and hope, how to be a good friend, how to be a loving partner, how to set a goal and work toward it, how to accept people and love them with all of their faults, and how to express love with both actions and words. In the past two years of his life he lived even more intensely and went on many adventures with Angie, Jocelyn, and Brody with amazing trips to Hawaii, Aruba, and Disney.
Andy was very proud of his work at Moderna as the Director of Delivery and Warehousing where he worked for the past 7 years. Prior to that he worked at Organogenesis for 12 years and JM Perrone for 6 years. He was proud of his work but he was even more proud of the relationships he formed during his years at those organizations.
He was the Founder of the Tommy Tunes Organization where he raised money for countless charities through his annual softball tournament since 2003. He loved sports and competing and spent many hours with Angie playing for various softball teams. He was also a lifelong professional wrestling fan and remained so right until the end of his time on this earth.
He was wise beyond his years and shared his wisdom with his friends and family. One of his favorite quotes was “Never allow life to define your yesterday, today or tomorrow you and only you define who you are and what you do, decide to be better than yesterday and even greater tomorrow. Never stop believing and pushing yourself, we only have one measurement and competition that we can control and it’s how to be the best and brightest YOU.”
He will forever be missed by his friends and family.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday 12-4 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Monday, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Andy’s memory to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
