Andrea Trebicka

Andrea Trebicka, of Quincy, formerly of Korca, Albania, died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, June 17, 2022, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Milton. He was 92.

Born on November 15, 1929, in Korca, Albania, he was the son of the late Guri and Kate (Koti) Trebicka. Andrea was raised in Korca, attended local schools and completed his higher education in both Bulgaria and Albania. His career was in commerce as a chemical engineer, and Andrea enjoyed his work along with the relationships he built throughout the years. After retiring, Andrea and his wife moved to Quincy in 2006, where they have lived for the last sixteen years.

Family was the most important part of Andrea’s life. He would do anything for the people he loved and cared for. His life lessons and example are part of his legacy that continues through his family. He will be missed by all the lives he touched.

Andrea was the beloved husband of Theofani (Xhako) Trebicka of Quincy, with whom he shared many loving years of marriage. He was the devoted father of Albert Trebicka and his wife Stella of Quincy, and Keti Kaculini and her husband Stefan of Texas. Andrea was the loving grandfather of Andi Trebicka of Quincy, Mickael Kaculini of Quincy, and Christian Kaculini of Texas. He was the dear brother of the late Pandora Xega, and is also survived by many loving extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

Andrea’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 10 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy.

Services will conclude with interment in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in Andrea’s name to the charitable organization of one’s choice.
