Andrea M. Stevenson

Stevenson, Andrea M. (Dillon) 75, of Weymouth, died March 16, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Andy grew up in Braintree and has lived in Weymouth for over 45 years. She worked in banking for many years, recently retiring from Crescent Credit Union in Norwell. In her early years she was a member of the color guard with the St. Thomas Moore Drum & Bugle Corp and won the national championship in NYC in 1958. More recently, she enjoyed baking, bird watching and watching the New England Patriots. She could often be found at the Whipple Center in Weymouth participating in the many activities with her dear friends. Her family was the foundation of all that was important to her and she was the happiest when surrounded by those she loved.

Beloved wife of the late Robert L. Stevenson. Devoted mother of Susan Chiavaroli and her husband Steven, Robert L. Stevenson, Jr. and his wife Teri, Kelly Brown and her husband Arthur, Karyn Kinsella, James Stevenson, and Timothy Stevenson and his wife Anna, all of Weymouth. Cherished grandmother of Ivi, Robert III, Steven Jr., Lauren,
Samantha, Dillon, Connor, Michael, Mathew, Michael, Caitlin, and great-grandchildren Malia, Arimus and Mikey. Loving sister of Brenda Kearney of Plymouth and brother Edward Dillon, Jr. of Fairhaven. Also survived by many in-laws, extended family members and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10:30 AM Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 11:30 AM. Burial in Old North Cemetery, Weymouth.
