Amaya C. Douglas

Douglas, Amaya C. of Rockland, passed away with her family by her side on December 19, 2015.

Amaya was a sophomore attending South Shore Educational Collaborative. Amaya enjoyed an array of different activities including swimming, school field trips and vacationing to the Cape. Reading books and spending time with her best friend Shannon were also a favorite of Amaya’s. Over the years, a great number of folks have been by Amaya’s side; the family would like to thank South Shore VNA, Centrus Home Health, Hope Hospice and the wonderful Cardiac Transplant Team at Children’s Hospital.

Beloved daughter of Michelle Douglas and her companion Alan Auriemma of Rockland and Gerard Douglas and his companion Christine O’ Leary of Braintree. Cherished granddaughter of Dianne Boudreau and predeceased by her grandparents Paul Boudreau, Mary Douglas and William Douglas. Loving niece of Jeffrey Boudreau, David Boudreau, Arthur Douglas and Michael Douglas.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 3-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday at the funeral home at 8:15 AM. Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9 AM in Holy Family Church, Rockland. Burial will be private.
