Alvera D. “Vera” Quish

Quish, Alvera D. “Vera” (Ferrera) of Quincy, formerly of Hyde Park, died July 5, 2008. Wife of the late George P. Quish. Devoted mother of George M. Quish of Dorchester, Louise McDougall of Kingston, Mary Quish of Quincy, and Michael G. Quish of Quincy. Cherished grandmother of John Michael and Cali Ann Quish, and great-grandmother of Lily Maye Quish Ferrone. Loving sister of Louise Voveris of Milton, Corrine Miller of Newtonville, Augustine “Gus” Ferrera of Maine, and Joseph Ferrera of Milton. Vera is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Vera was a very family oriented person who enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4 – 8 PM. Cremation will follow.
