Allan G. Taylor

Taylor, Allan G. of Weymouth, died February 14, 2022. 

Allan was a proud veteran for the United States Coast Guard Reserves during the Vietnam era. He worked for HW Little company as a pipefitter for many years as well as a long hauler for Hallowmore before his retirement.  Allan was a handy man who would and could fix or do anything for anyone.  He was an active member of the South Shore Model Railway Club since 1968. His main passion in life was spending time with those he loved. Allan will be remembered for his sweet, gentle and kind personality. He will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.     

Beloved husband of 56 years to Kathleen D. Taylor (Little) of Weymouth. Loving father of Jim Taylor of Norwood.  Cherished grandfather of Jonathan Taylor and Caitlin Taylor.  Devoted great grandfather of Colton Taylor.  Caring brother of Linda Gay and her husband Len of Onset and Rita Taylor of Florida.  Also survived by extended family and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea St. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Allan may be made to South Shore Model Railway Club, 52 Bare Cove Park Drive, Hingham, MA 02043, or to the New England Wildlife Center, 500 Columbian Street, Weymouth MA 02190.
