Alisha M. Carey

Carey, Alisha M. of Weymouth, died May 17, 2018, surrounded by her family, after a 32 year courageous battle with Rett Syndrome.

She now joins the many friends and loved ones that have gone before her. Alisha attended Road to Responsibility and South Shore Educational Collaborative. She enjoyed many family vacations, dinner outings and adventures. Disney music videos, visiting her grandparents and spending time with family never failed to make her happy. Alisha’s family will never forget the joy on her face when she swam with dolphins. To know Alisha was to love her.

Cherished daughter of Brian E. and Doreen (Fraser) Carey. Loving sister of Kristin Carey and John Carey and his companion Evageanette. Beloved granddaughter of Jeanette Carey, John J. and Doreen Fraser. Loving aunt of Jaiden Gonzalez. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 3-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
