Alice Tweedy

Alice (Neary)  Tweedy of Hingham, formerly of Quincy, died on September 30, 2023. The beloved wife of the late Robert F. Tweedy. Loving mother of Jonathan Tweedy and his wife Colleen of Mansfield and Allison Lamb and her husband John of Chatham, NJ. Sister of Donna Neary of Quincy and the late Edward Neary, Jr. and Paul Neary. Cherished grandmother of Samantha Tweedy, Shannon, Jacob and Jack Lamb. 

Alice graduated from Boston College, it was there she met her husband Robert. She for many years as a legal secretary before her retirement. Alice had a beautiful singing voice and enjoyed performing in Theater groups. She was a resident of Linden Ponds and had the opportunity to stay active in their singing and theater groups. Alice loved to garden and enjoyed planting and nurturing all the beautiful flowers, daises were her favorite. An avid reader, you could always find a book on her bedside table. Her life was full, but nothing was more important than her family, especially her grandchildren, she adored them and was very proud of all their achievements. Alice will be sadly missed by all those who knew her.
