Alice T. Kennedy

Kennedy, Alice T. of Oceanside, CA, formerly of Quincy and South Boston, February 1, 2009. Beloved mother of Paul J. Kennedy and his wife Nicole of San Diego, CA, formerly of Quincy. Loving grandmother of Erin and Megan Kennedy, both of San Diego, CA. Daughter of the late John J. Kennedy and Alice (Blythe) Kennedy. Sister of James A. Kennedy of Hanover and the late Gertrude Lynch Chandler, Margaret Burt, Joanne Kennedy, John Kennedy, Maryanne Keegan and Bridgett Kennedy. Life long friend of Betty Kelly Smith. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and godchildren. Alice’s life revolved around her family, grandchildren and friends. She was a proud member of IBEW Local 103, having worked 30 years with the telephone company. Alice was a dedicated fan of the Boston Red Sox. She was a 1949 graduate of South Boston High School. She was feisty, loved life and enjoyed being with people. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Life Celebration Service in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Saturday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston. Donations in memory of Alice may be made to the Susan G.
