Julian, Alice P. of Brookline, died January 9, 2018.

Alice born and spent her childhood and early family life in Brookline. Attending Brookline high school with her 5 pre-deceased siblings; Phillip McGeoghegan, Marion McGeoghegan, Peggy Wassell, Eleanor Guilmette, Dottie Kelly, and her youngest brother Tony McGeoghegan.

Alice married 63 wonderful years to the late Andrew J. Julian Sr. and his “dearest Alice” spent most of their lives residing in Hingham near beautiful Hingham beach. Andrew loved his work in sales as a financial adviser at John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance and Financial Corporation. Andrew was a proud member of the U.S. Army; served in the Korean War where he earned a bronze medal. Andrew wrote many love letters to Alice while in Korea. Alice and Andrew had the greatest enduring constant love for one another. Alice and Andrew were avid Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fans. Alice and Andrew would take trips to Florida to attend the Boston Red Sox spring training and enjoyed visiting Andrew Sr.’s West Virginian farm. Alice’s joy was her family, a wonderful mother who gave tremendous boundless love and support to her children and grandchildren. Alice and her “dearest husband,” Andrew enjoyed and loved to participate and attend their “favorite son” Andrew Jr’s games. Whether it was hockey or her dearest Andrew Sr.’s managing their son’s Andrew Jr.’s baseball team, The Rockets. All sharing the enjoyment of achieving championship status. Alice championed her daughter’s Pamela’s run for office and had a mutual passion for politics and the service of those less fortunate and would attend countless flower shows and Museums with one another. Alice championed her daughter’s Michele’s ice skating passion attending the lessons and competitions at Pilgrim Skating arena; Alice, in her raincoat. Alice championed her daughter Meredith’s love of art and their mutual passion for décor and home shows and the love of family. Alice Julian, was the most wonderful wife, mother, Nonnie and Great Nonnie.

Beloved wife of Andrew Julian of Brighton. Daughter of the late Delia and Anthony McGeoghegan. Cherished mother of Andrew J. Julian Jr. and his wife Evelyn of Hingham, Pamela S. Julian of Brookline and her fiancé David Richman of Henniker, New Hampshire, Michele A. Julian and her husband Tom Gorman of Watertown and Meredith J. Boudreault and her husband Robert of Norwood.  Treasured Nonnie to 7 grandchildren; Anthony, Ashley, Courtney, Barry, Erik, Andrew III, and Christian. Alice was also a Great Nonnie of Blake Radcliff.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Burial in Hingham Cemetery, Hingham.
