Alice M. Thornley

Alice M. (MacLeod) Thornley, of Weymouth, formerly of Quincy died peacefully after a long illness on April 4, 2022. She was 92.

Alice was always busy and active in multiple organizations.

She was the beloved wife of the late Frederick Thornley, II. Loving mother of Frederick “Artie” Thornley, III of Weymouth; James Thornley and his wife Andrea of Rockland; Robert Thornley and his wife Linda of Weymouth; Linda Stohl of Weymouth; Peter Thornley of Hanover; Susan Swain and her husband Richard of Weymouth; and the late Stephen Thornley. Sister of the late Marion Condon. Proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday 3-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Weymouth.
