Alice M. Strausbaugh

Strausbaugh, Alice M. (Ray) of Quincy, passed away February 25, 2011 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of the late Arlin V. Strausbaugh. Devoted mother of Debra Bizzaro of Quincy, Jeffrey Strausbaugh and his wife Debra of Plymouth, Joette Halpern and her husband Joel of Foxboro and Brian Strausbaugh and his wife Sarah of Raynham. Loving sister of Claire Gaudet of Stoughton, Marilyn Scott of NH, Evelyn Pirozzi of Belmont and the late Barbara Dickerson and Grace McKain. Cherished Nana of 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Dear friend of Noreen Routier of Hanover and Etta Olszowy of Quincy. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Alice has lived in Quincy for over 45 years. She was an active volunteer for Survival. She enjoyed traveling and was a yard sale fanatic but her main passion was being surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday, March 1st at 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 2nd at 11 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Alice may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
