McCarthy, Alice M. (Maloney) of Quincy, January 12, 2002. Beloved wife of fifty years of Paul F. McCarthy. Loving mother of Mary P. McCarthy of Quincy. Grandmother of Christine E. Caples of Quincy. Sister of the late Alfred, Edward and John Maloney. Mrs. McCarthy was raised in Hyde Park. She was a communicant of St. Ann’s Church in Quincy and St. Ambrose Church in Dorchester where she often enjoyed listening to her daughter, the St. Ambrose Cantor, sing. She was a graduate of Hyde Park High School and Burdette School of Business. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Thursday at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
