Alice M. Kavanaugh

Alice M. (O’Rourke) Kavanaugh, of Braintree, died April 1, 2013.

Alice was a beautiful and talented lady.  In her early years she worked as a fashion model and was an accomplished painter.  She was a wonderful wife and mother and enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and her outgoing and loving personality.

Beloved wife of Paul F. Kavanaugh of Braintree.  Loving mother of Alison C. Long of RI, and Jennifer M. Long of NJ. She is the last surviving member of the O’Rourke family. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 2-5 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree at 10:30 AM.  Burial in Braintree Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in memory of Alice may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265.
