Alice Guilmartin

Guilmartin, Alice of Quincy, died on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at the age of 95. Daughter of the late James and Agatha Guilmartin and sister of the late Ruth and James Guilmartin, and Genevieve Clancy. She is survived by her brother Richard J. Guilmartin of Stone Mountain, GA and many nieces and nephews. Alice taught in the Quincy Public School system for many years and was also involved in their Guidance Department. She continued to be active in the Quincy Retired Teachers Association after her retirement. In addition to her work, Alice also loved music, art and world travel. She will be dearly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Wednesday 11 A.M. – 1:00 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY, followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 1:15 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in memory of Alice may be made to the Alice J.
