Wood, Alice B. (Sheridan) of Quincy August 30, 2005. Wife of the late Thomas E. Wood. Loving mother of Barbara Wood of Rockland, Alice and her husband Bruce McDaniel of Sandwich, Mary and her husband Edward Burke of East Weymouth. Sister of Cecelia Sullivan of Foxboro. Grandmother of Robert McDaniel and Joseph Burke. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Tuesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 11 AM. Visitation will be prior to the mass on Tuesday . Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Mrs. Wood moved to South Yarmouth after retiring in 1982 from the retirement board for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She was a communicant of St. Pius X Parish in South Yarmouth and was a member of the the Women’s Guild & Bingo volunteer for many years. She was also a member of the Irish American Club, the Yarmouth Garden Club & the Friday Bowling League in South Yarmouth. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Mrs. Wood may be made to The School Fund at St. Pius X Church, 5 Barbara St.., So.
