Alice B. Wood

Wood, Alice B. (Sheridan) of Quincy and South Yarmouth, August 30, 2005. Beloved wife of the late Thomas E. Wood. Loving mother of Barbara Wood of Rockland, Alice and her husband Bruce McDaniel of Sandwich, Mary and her husband Edward Burke of East Weymouth. Sister of Cecelia Sullivan of Foxboro. Grandmother of Robert McDaniel and Joseph Burke. After her retirement from the Commonwealth of Mass. Retirement Board in 1982, Mrs.Wood moved to So.Yarmouth where she lived until 2003. Mrs. Wood was a communicant of St.Pius X Parish. She was a member of the Women’s Guild & Bingo volunteer for many years. She was also a member of the Irish American Club, Yarmouth Garden Club and the Friday Bowling League in So. Yarmouth. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Tuesday at 9:30 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 11 AM. Visitation will be prior to the mass on Tuesday. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Mrs. Wood may be made to The School Fund at St. Pius X Church, 5 Barbara St.., So.
