Alice A. Phillips

Phillips, Alice A. (McDonough) of Braintree, died May 13, 2022 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. She was 81 years old.

Alice was a quiet woman who loved doing things around the home. She was known for doing crafts. Alice did everything from crocheting to knitting and everything in between. She was exceptional at baking and did so for her children constantly. Alice also took pride in gardening, creating a picturesque scene in her yard. She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing online games on her computer. Alice was truly a special woman that will be missed by all who knew her.

She was the loving wife of 58 years to Robert Phillips of Braintree. Alice was also the caring mother of Barbara Phillips of Braintree, MaryJo Phillips of Braintree, Robert Phillips and his wife Lily of North Carolina, and Thomas Phillips of Maine. She was the doting sister to Rita Ingelsoll of East Boston, the late Walter McDonough, and the late Steven McDonough. Beloved grandmother of Catherine and Jonathan Phillips.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to join the family at Highland Cemetery in Norwood for interment. Date is to be determined. Donations can be made in Alice’s name to Alzheimers Assn., MA Chapter, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
