Brennan, Alice A. (Gonski) of Quincy formerly of Hyde Park, November 22, 2004. Beloved wife of the late Edmund J. Brennan. Loving sister of Stella F. Ricci of Hyde Park and the late Genevieve “Janey” O’Keefe and John J. Gonski. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Monday at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 11 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 3-5 and 7-9 PM. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park. Alice was very active at St. Ann’s Church in Quincy. She was a devoted member of the St. Ann’s Church Legion of Mary. She was a lector as well as a eucharistic minister at the church. Alice was also reponsible for the organization of the parish sacristy. Alice worked at the Veterans Administration from 1926-1929. She worked as a secretary for the Dept. of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms from 1929-1938. Several years later she worked as a secretary at Blacker-Holland Lumber Co. in N. Quincy from 1963-1978. She was a member of NARFE (National Association of Retired Federal Employees). Alice was a 1923 graduate of Hyde Park High School.
