Alexander J. Coutts. Sr.

Alexander J. Coutts, Sr. of Quincy, died at home on June 13, 2017, surrounded by his family.  The beloved husband of the late Doris ( O’Leary) Coutts and Carol (Savard) Coutts of Quincy. Loving father of  Donna Sullivan and her late husband Michael of Bellingham, Marion Coutts and her partner Cheryl of Brockton, Edward Coutts and his wife Dawn of South Attleboro, Barbara Piccuito of Quincy, John Coutts of Taunton, Deborah Doherty of Weymouth, Cynthia Kennedy and her husband James of Attleboro, Alexander J. Coutts, Jr and his wife Lynne of Taunton and Susan Estabrooks and her husband Scott of Middleboro. Stepfather of David Savard of Quincy and the late Yvette Savard.  Brother of Frederick Coutts and his wife Caroline of VA and the late Thomas Coutts. Brother in law of Lois Coutts of PA. He is also survived by 35 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A longtime Quincy resident, Al worked as a painter for more than 30 years for Quincy Housing Authority. He will be sadly missed by all those who knew him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM.

Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
