Prall, Alexander G. of Quincy August 5, 2007. Husband of the the late Anna (Hennessey) and Catherine (Murphy) Prall. Beloved father of David A. Prall of Claremont, N.H., Mary McDonough of Braintree, and the late Michael Prall. Loving step-father of Linda Mini of Laconia, N.H., Arthur Keefe of Duxbury, and Timothy Keefe of Holliston. Dear brother of the late Mary Horgan, John, Frank, Julie, and Anthony Prall. Cherished grandfather of Kathryn McDonough, Erin Remillard, Michael McDonough, Shawn Prall, Kaitlyn Prall, and 9 step-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Friday at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 5 – 8 PM. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston. Donations in memory of Alexander G. Prall may be made to Alzheimers Assn., MA Chapter, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472. Al was a WWII veteran of the Army/Air Corps serving from 1942-1946. He was a painter by trade and worked for the City of Boston Housing Authority for over 20 years, retiring in 1970. Prior to that, he was a painter with his brothers in the family business. He was a member of the DAV Chapter in Dorchester, the Boston Aquarium Society and the Western Mass. Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930’s. A lover of animals, he also enjoyed gardening and fishing. He was a breeder of tropical fish and was known throughout the New England region for his special breeding of them.
