Di Silvio, Alessandro of Hingham October 10, 2003. Son of Maria Luisa Martini and Silvio DiSilvio of Padova, Italy. Beloved husband Patricia (Foley) Di Silvio. Loving father of Laila Di Silvio of Amherst, Francesca Di Silvio of Arlington, VA and Lorenzo Di Silvio of Hingham. Brother of Giampaolo Di Silvio and Carlo Di Silvio, both of Padova, Italy. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Wednesday at 10:30 AM.Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Cremation will follow.Mr. Di Silvio was born in Arezzo, Italy and later served as an officer in the Italian Army. He came to the U.S. with his wife in 1969 and earned his Phd in Italian Literature. He taught Italian language and literature for several years at William & Mary College and the University of Wisconsin before going to work for the M.F. Foley Company in Boston (where he retired in 2002 after 23 years). Donations in memory of Mr. Di Silvio may be made to Hospice of the South Shore, 100 Baystate Dr., PO Box 9060, Braintree, MA 02184.
