Albert Walter Stober

Albert “B” Walter Stober of Quincy, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 28, 2020.  He was 81.

Albert was the son of Violet (Green) and Frederick Stober, born and raised in Jamaica Plain.  Proudly served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, before resettling in Jamaica Plain to raise his 2 daughters. Beloved father of Sandra Stober of Braintree, Janine Morahan and her husband Brian of Braintree. Albert was an avid reader, animal lover and film enthusiast. In his retirement, Albert was devoted to his 5 grandchildren, Colleen, Mairead, Thomas, Michael & Deirdre who lovingly called him “B”; they along with his 2 daughters were his pride and joy. He will also be missed by the family dog, Finn, with whom he spent countless mornings and afternoons walking. His love will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and his memory will always be cherished.

Albert was predeceased by his siblings: Barbara (Stober) Villani, Frederick Stober, and William “Billy” Stober and his wife Elizabeth “Betty” Stober.  Also, survived by many nieces and nephews.
