Albert E. Foley

Foley, Albert E. of Quincy, died on April 1, 2015, he was 67. The beloved husband of 41 years to Jeanne ( Wieners) Foley of Quincy. Loving father of Ian M. Foley of Quincy and  Eric A. Foley of New Orleans, LA. Brother of  James Foley of Newton, NH, Elaine Van Deusen of Barrington, RI, and the late Rosemarie Donovan.

He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Al worked as a virologist at the State Lab in Jamaica Plain for over 30 years. He was a member at South Shore Camera Club and volunteered at the Quincy Crisis Center and Food Bank and was active in Parkinsons support groups in Hingham as well as Milton sites. Al was also active with the South Shore Center for the Blind. He was a connoisseur of B-movies, strange humor, and meticulous lawn care.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 5-9 PM  in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM.

Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
