Albert Abbruzzese

Abbruzzese, Albert of Quincy, April 15, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Ann (Guerriero) Abbruzzese. Loving father of Margaret “Margie” Lawless and her late husband Tom of Quincy, Judy Abbruzzese of Quincy and the late Al “Happy” Abbruzzese. Brother of Anna Domiziano of Billerica and the late Anthony, Jenny Mazzei, Millie MacIntyre, Orlando, Angie Zagami, Larry and Candida Coronite. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Albert was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII. He later worked in the Quincy Shipyard as an electrician. Mr. Abbruzzese was a longtime member of IBEW Local 103 retiring in 1989. Albert was a 4th Degree member of the Greater Quincy Knights of Columbus Council. He was also a member of the McKeon and VFW Post. Albert enjoyed his family, fishing and sports. He was also a wonderful cook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St. QUINCY, Friday at 10 AM. Funeral Mass from Holy Trinity Parish in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Quincy at 11 AM. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM. Burial in Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Albert may be made to Holy Trinity Parish, 26 Shed St., Quincy, MA 02169 or Good Samaritan Hospice, 3 Edgewater Dr., Norwood, MA 02062.
