Albert A. Megna

Megna, Albert A. of N. Weymouth, formerly of Quincy, passed away October 16, 2012. Beloved husband of Rose M (Imprescia) Megna. Loving father of Mary DeAngelis and her husband, John, of North Weymouth, and the late Virginia Ekholm. Brother of Vito Megna of Texas. Proud Grandfather of Teresa, Janine and her husband George, and John and his wife Kerri. Great Grandfather of Kendall. Al was a World War II veteran serving with the United States Army where he was also the recipient of the Purple Heart He was a member of the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, 101st Infantry Veterans Association, as well as the Yankee Division. Al also enjoyed going to Foxwoods. He will be sorely missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9: 15 AM Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. John’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
