Keddy, Alan V. of Braintree, formerly of Mesa, Arizona and Hingham, August 15, 2006. Former husband of Susan Keddy and the late Marianne (Ganzel). Devoted father of Michael Keddy of Quincy, Leah Johnson of Braintree, and Wayne Keddy and his wife Genevieve of Braintree. Loving brother of Ivan Keddy of Phoenix, AZ. Cherished grandfather of 4 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Saturday at 11:00 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4 – 8 PM. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Alan Keddy may be made to So. Shore VNA, 100 Baystate Dr., Braintree, MA 02184. Alan was a carpet layer for the Carpenter’s Union # 2168 for over 21 years. He was truly an expert in his craft. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed bowling, scuba diving, tennis, and chess. Alan was also an artist and a sculpter. He was a history buff and a naturalist, and was a herpetologist (reptiles and amphibians). Alan enjoyed life itself and was very proud of his family.
