Shaw, Allen David of Hull, died at his home on December 31, 2004, of lung cancer. The Beloved Husband of Linda (Appleyard) Shaw of Hull. Father of John G. Shaw and his wife Kelly of VA., Lisa A. Rawcliff and her husband Charles of Corning, NY. Step-Father of Jon Boucher and his wife Brenda of Woodbury, CT , Lynn Boucher of Manchester, NH and Tai Bogan of New Hampshire. Allen is also survived by 3 Grandsons, 5 Step Grandchildren and 2 Step Great Grandchildren. Allen D. Shaw grew up in New York, he graduated from Thomas Edison High School , Class of 1965 in Elimira Heights, New York. Upon graduation, Allen went to work from 1970 – 1980 for Kennedy Valve located in Elmira, he was a purchasing agent. Then in 1980 he moved to New England and took a position as a purchasing supervisor for Watt’s Regulator which was located in Lawrence, MA & Franklin, NH. IN 1982 Allen went to work for CMS in Bridgewater, MA, the company was bought out by the Volex Incorp. where he became Vice President of Materials for the entire North American Operations, head quartered in Quincy. Allen retired in 2001. In his leisure time, Allen enjoyed golf and fishing. He traveled throughout the world and has a special affection for Ireland, where he lived and worked for 1 year. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Tuesday 3-8 PM. Graveside Funeral service and burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Elmira, New York at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Allen may be made to Hospice of the South Shore, 100 Baystate Road, Braintree, MA 02184.
