Agnes R. Harvey

Harvey, Agnes R. (Stempien) of Quincy, passed away on June 13, 2012, she was 96. Beloved wife of the late Russell Harvey. Cherished mother of Joyce Baker and her husband Lenny of CT, John Harvey and his wife Carol of Quincy, Wayne Harvey and his wife Karen of Weymouth and the late Russell Harvey, Jr. Mother in Law of Mary Harvey of Weymouth. Sister of Anna Battistone of FL and Joanne Canzellarini of CT. Agnes is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Agnes was an avid gardener, she enjoyed spending time taking care of her plants. Her love of the ocean also made her a proficient clam digger. She enjoyed crocheting and had a great love of music. She and her late husband Russell were entertainers singing Country & Western tunes for many years. Agnes was an avid Red Sox fan as well as a devoted NASCAR fan, she enjoyed watching the Daytona 500. She found great pleasure in traveling especially to Florida. The foundation of her life was her family, she was devoted to them and in return they cherished her. Her family will miss her deeply, but they are grateful for all the blessings she brought into their lives. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday at 11 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Agnes may be made a charity of your choice.
