Agnes M. Curran

Curran, Agnes M. (Prescott) of Rockland formerly of Abington, passed away September 1, 2018 at age 73, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Dorchester to the late William John Prescott, Jr and Agnes Marie (Fortunato) Prescott, she was the fourth of twelve children.

The foundation of her family, she was the beloved wife of 54 years to William T Curran Sr., Lt. Quincy Police Department (Retired). Loving mother of William T Curran, Jr. and wife Susan of Quincy, Elizabeth McDermott and husband David of Milton, Susan Curran of Hingham, Donna Krikorian and husband Kraig of Worcester, Lauren Lambert and husband Chris of Kingston, Tracey Sampson and husband David of Whitman, and Karen Godfrey and husband Sean of Hanover. Sister of Helen Delaney of Illinois, Rosemary Daly of Marshfield, William Prescott of Stoughton, and the late Lucille Prescott of Hull. Cherished grandmother “Nana” of fourteen – Collin, Kendall, Cameron, Matthew, Anna, Brennen, Jenna, Connor, Paige, Kacey, Maeve, Morgan, Gianna, and Hannah. Also survived by many cherished brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday, September 5 from 4-8 pm in the MacDonald Keohane Funeral Home, 809 Main Street, South Weymouth (Rte 18 opposite South Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home Thursday 8 am prior to the Funeral Mass at St. Bridget’s Abington at 9 am. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree to follow.
